Explore the importance of having a fit-for-purpose telecommunication environment in local government to ensure a better operational, staff, and community experience in a cloud-first era accelerated by COVID-19.

Cloud solutions have been rolled out rapidly in some local governments to address customer service expectations without necessarily ensuring that backend systems and networks can optimally support ongoing digitisation and these expectations. A critical component of ensuring that telecommunications networks can meet the needs of local governments and mitigate risk in a cloud world is having true network diversity.

In today’s telecommunications environment, local governments have more procurement power than even before, brought about by an increased level of choice from traditional carriers to emerging alternatives such as wireless and satellite. Join us for a high-level business discussion for CEOs/GMs and ICT and infrastructure managers on the risks and issues in this arena with experts in the field, as well as insight into how the right procurement approach can steer local governments in the right direction now and into the future.
